Game Mechanics and Scoring

The Copy Head game uses eight fair binary symbols. You scan the sequence from left to right. At each unread position, you find the longest matching substring contained wholly in the already consumed prefix. If the match length is at least two, it counts as a copy token. Otherwise, you consume one literal. The score is the total length of copied parts minus one for each copy token.

One whole captured stake covers the complete independent fair binary word. You may choose between score, score squared or score cubed. Each mode is separately normalized over all 256 equally likely words to a 96 percent expected gross return. A larger power does not change which words score zero.

Controls and Modes

Use Auto10 to queue at most ten captured draws. Use Stop to cancel future draws while the current one settles. Sound remains available during these actions. Settings, stake, mode and refill are locked until settlement and the queue finish. The game uses one whole captured stake; there are no independent row shares.

Payouts and Settlement

The gross return is 0.96 × captured whole stake × raw^p / M. Choose p = 1, 2 or 3 for Score, Squared or Cubed. The corresponding exact M values are 2.1015625, 4.9140625 and 12.4609375. Each mode has 96% expected gross return; this is not guaranteed net profit.

A draw settles after its animation, approximately 480 milliseconds. Stake, mode and refill remain locked during the draw and any auto queue. Measured returns from one million rounds are sample observations that vary around the exact mathematical expectation.

Wallet and Balance Rules

The initial balance is 1,000 virtual coins. Fractional carry persists across settlement, refill and reload. The settled balance persists locally, including when it reaches zero. If you reload the page during an unfinished draw, the round ends without refund or resume.

You can manually restore balance while idle if it falls below 10. This action sets the balance to 1,000 and preserves the fractional carry. Restoration does not add the reset amount automatically.

Virtual Coins and Cash Value

The demo uses virtual coins that have no cash value. There is no cashier, no payment flow and no account flow. You cannot withdraw coins or convert them to real currency. The balance is stored in the browser's local storage.

Data and Privacy Observations

The source uses browser local storage for the settled demo balance and fractional carry. This does not establish anonymity or exclude other processing. The template declares a Google Fonts stylesheet. Actual browser request capture is pending, so this is not a claim that other requests or processing are absent.

Frequently asked questions

Is the 96 percent return guaranteed?

No. The 96 percent is an expected gross return over all 256 equally likely words. It is not a guarantee of net profit for any single session or draw.

How does manual restoration work?

You can manually restore balance while idle if it falls below 10. This sets the balance to 1,000 and preserves any fractional carry. It does not add the reset amount automatically.

What happens if I reload during a draw?

Reloading ends an unfinished draw without refund or resume. The fractional carry persists, but the current round is lost.
